THE MAN AND THE WORK ARE INSEPARABLE. THIS IS THE STORY OF BOB RASMUSSON AND HOW HE FOUNDED REGENESIS.
Jim Mann,
Master Regenesis Practitioner, Senior
Teacher.
He has a degree in psychology from the University of California in Santa Cruz and has taken post-graduate training in anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.

Bob Rasmusson was an internationally acknowledged Master Healer who originated Regenesis, a unique body of healing work that uses a simple process to activate and accelerate healing.
Regenesis developed over a period of several years as Bob intuitively tried to help people with physical problems through the laying on of hands--and found that he could. In the 1970s he moved from the Bay Area to Santa Cruz and gradually developed a healing practice. At the time, he was in his early 50s.
As word of mouth spread about his unique abilities, his reputation as a healer solidified, especially about his unique ability to “melt” bones back into their proper place. He usually saw up to one hundred people a week, and periodically held week -long clinics (12 hours per day) in Santa Barbara and other communities. Up to this time Bob solely practiced healing. He did not give seminars.
When Hermina Sauberman, a former editor, joined him in 1978, she began to document Bob's work. She observed and recorded how he dealt with the conditions of people who came to see him, and these notes became the basis for the seminar workbooks. The notes segmented the work into a structure for teaching, opening up the possibility of Bob's teaching his work.
In 1980, Bob, together with two colleagues, a dynamic and innovative colleague (Lisinka Ulatowska) with a Ph. D. in psychology and Earle Lane a Kirlian energy investigator and author of Rainbows of Life founded a branch of Columbia Pacific University, a Northern California college, in Santa Cruz , called Columbia University Centre for Integrative Psychology. Bob designed a program in energy healing, and many students specialized in that program, obtaining their degree in energy healing.
Up to that time, the work was known as Bob's work. Bob's students came up with the name Regenesis based on Bob's philosophy that the body regenerates itself at the cellular level during healing. Bob felt that if starfish, lizards, frogs, and other animals could regenerate parts of their body, that capability was inherent in human beings as well if it could just be triggered. He often likened a person's healing system to a battery. “Sometime,” he said, we need a “jump start” to get things rolling again. If we experience grief and our “battery” is very low on energy, for example, we may need the help of another person to “jump start” our battery.
Bob was a true pioneer in energy healing when such work—and even the term—was unknown. In the early 80s, a time when no one had ever even heard the term energy healing , he began to teach his work around California and soon had invitations to teach across the country. He taught
average people to gently move bones that were “out” of position into their proper place and do other types of healings most people would call amazing. He was a simple man, and true to his nature he developed a simple process that anybody could use to help people reduce or eliminate pain.
The people who experienced or practiced his work called the results “remarkable,” particularly when they have the sensation of bones “melting” into alignment, but, in Bob's opinion, the most remarkable aspect of the work is the simplicity and ease in producing incredible results. “Anyone,” he said, “can learn and practice it effectively.”
Bob was a man of few words whose message has extended far beyond his own personal work. Bob's life revolved around healing, teaching it and practicing it. His main and only mission in life was to help people. He was dedicated to that mission, and never turned anyone away. During his 30 years of practice in the Santa Cruz area, he helped many people from all over the world and taught most of the area's prominent holistic practitioners (some of whom now teach in the University of California, Santa Cruz , and other universities). Bob has trained many doctors, nurses, and other health practitioners and laymen in Regenesis, and his work has been carried around the world.
Regenesis is the result of 40 years of experimentation and repeated successful results. Various research projects are now substantiating the information that Bob received intuitively. His essential philosophies and work related to healing are incorporated in the Basic and Advanced seminars, two books (the Regenesis Workbook and the Advanced Regenesis Workbook ), pamphlets on a variety of subjects, a video demonstrating his work, and a video of Bob in conversation about his philosophy of life.
THIS METHOD
IS PARTLY USED AS A BASIS FOR QUANTUM-TOUCH
Most readers of
the book by Richard Gordon "a breakthrough in healing with your hands" have
recognized that a large part of the methods and philosophies of Bob Rasmusson
has been used.
At the end of nineties when Bob Rasmusson already was ill,
Richard Gordon has used the information from Bob Rasmusson's first part of
his Basic workshop.
Bob asked his friend Jim Mann to continue his work. Bob died on September 12, 2001 (one day after the attack on the Twin Towers) in 2001.
BOS RASMUSSON DEVELOPED
FOUR MORE WORKSHOPS.
Bob Rasmusson developed four advanced workshops, Jim Mann has more than thirty (30) years of intensive work with this method. He has experience with the latest medical information, modernized it and added additional techniques.
